a StOrY AbOuT Me AnD WhAt I WaNt tO BeCoMe
I was gazing upon the stars thinking what my next move was going to be - thinking should I become a skateboarder,surfer,runner, or an nrl player? But my next move will be to become a basketball player.
As I was walking along the walk path I saw big wide sport stores with a lot of sports equipment. The first thing I would look and gaze upon would be the basketball section.I then walked home, ate dinner, got into my pjs and went to sleep where I was dreaming about how it would be to be a famous basketball player.
Would i become a pro? Maybe just a feshman, I never know. I know that when I wake up I’ll go straght to the basketball section at the sports store.
BRING BRING BRING BRING my small alarm clock with a loud sound woke me up straight away. I still didnt forget to go to the sports store, my friends were going to go there so i went with them. As we walked to the store i noticed some people at the basketball courts playing ball. I stopped and was watching how they played and the way they moved and the straight shooting that they did and I wished that I could become like them.
So we all finally got to the the sports shop and we all split up and went into different sections. Of course I went to the basketball section! I was looking at the uniforms of all the allstars such as Lebron,Shaq,Jordon and Kobe and I looked at how the basketballs were gripped and big so that when holding and dribbling the ball going for a shot it stays in your hands. Then I went off wondering and looking at the wonderful shoes - but they were too expensive!!
I only have $70 so I went to buy a basketball. There was one basketball that I loved, I needed to buy it, I had to have it, and it was only $25 so i bought it.
After that I went back home with my friends and it was then I was SHOCKED. My whole family spent their money on a basketball ring just for me! So my dad and I starting to punch it into the ground. Thank god I had bought the basketball!
When we finished I got to play with my friends. I was then practicing and practicing till I was becoming a pro, and I was then betting my friends and family members.The next dayI decided to verse my hardest challenger. We started to play, he was thrashing me 50 to 35 and he won this game - but it was’nt over yet!
So I was then practicing alot of times over over and over again; and the next day was school - it was a good sports day, until I saw the boy that beat me. It was try outs for sports.There was all sorts of sports like soccer,baseball,netball, and of course basketball! I am going to go in - I really had no need to try out all we had to do was shoot from 5 meters away.
Well I made it into the team - all my life I have wanted to make into a school team.Well we started our first game we won 58 to 20; the next we won; and the next and the next till the semi finals which we won. We won the finals as it then was. My school’s team was the 60 to 50 we won the game! As my friend scored we were then in the lucky last hard game but we were losing 55 to 40.
Well ,things happen - but there was 20 mins left. I caught the ball and I went for a 3 pointer which then makes us up to 43. The other team then started to miss their shots so we were not worried any more; we all started to shoot three’s and . . . .we !WON!. We were awarded with $20,000 and we were happy! Iwas also, but guess what !MY DREAM HAS JUST COME TRUE!

hi my name is zayyan - sounds like a weird name but that doesnt really matter anyway. I’m happy to be in my cool class with the best teacher and her name is Mrs Pericles and she is very fun.
